We hear it all the time. The pep talks. The motivation to go out there and make our dreams come true. We hustle, we succeed, we cry, we rejoice, we fail, we dream, we do. The life of a dreamer can look so inspiring and so beautiful and so full of adventure.
And it is.
And then it isn’t.
And then it is again.
More and more women are weaving their stories, their burdens, and their God-given gifts into big dreams, intentional businesses, and God’s work. The Lord gifted us the vision in the summer of 2014 to create a devotional with prayers and Scripture that would encourage women dreamers and doers to stay tethered to their faith and to the Lord.
We have long known the power of community and the uniqueness of individuals in the body of Christ, so we gathered an inspiring group of dreamers, doers, and entrepreneurs to write these prayers along with us. Many of these women are our friends who have waded through the trenches of searching for and living out our God-given purpose and calling. Just a few of the amazing dreamers and doers included in this collaboration are Casey Weigand, Esther Havens, Holley Gerth, Jennie Allen, Lara Casey, Lauren Chandler, Rebekah Lyons and Tricia Goyer.
Our heart for our readers and our online community for dreamers and doers, The {Well} Studio, are for you to know that you are not alone and to provide a tool that keeps you hand in hand with Jesus and in the Word.
Do you want to LOVE better this year in the midst of your BUSYNESS?
Do you find your self struggling with COMPARISON or paralyzed with FEAR?
Do you want to maintain a spirit of SIMPLICITY so that you can pursue your DREAMS?
Do you desire more CREATIVITY and AUTHENTICITY in your work?
Are you a DREAMER or a DOER?
“This is our place, friends — a book full of our people. A book full of cries and prayers and hopes that will feel so familiar and so refreshing. We need each other, and we need God.” ~ Jennie Allen
We know that sometimes it’s hard to know “what to pray” or if God even cares about “the little things.” Friends, He cares so much and wants to hear it all. We even included Scripture with each prayer to meditate on a few questions to spark further conversations with friends or for journaling.
In an effort to build community beyond our online space we have been hosting book bash gatherings across the country. Women and college students have been gathering as small groups and walking through the devotional together.
So here is to month after month and day after day of drawing near to the God of your dreams and the Creator of your purpose.

Last year my dad moved into assisted living, had multiple medical issues and I had tons of work stresses and so did hubby-almost losing his job & maybe again this year. Beginning last June I felt a twinge-eh calling from God to become “local” missionary. I have this urge to want to cook for people, write letters, raise money, etc. just help out the poor and needy in my area.
My dream would be to either find a different job with less stress or work part-time and help out more. I have been blessed so immensely in my life that I want to give back!
