I pulled out the devotionals as we unpacked our Christmas decorations and added a few new ones to the pile this year. One with my own words in it, another a surprisingly delightful journey of hope, both placed near my desk alongside a Lego Advent calendar, Truth in the Tinsel, and Unwrapping the Greatest Gift.
We won’t do them all every day, but we’ll do something as a family to prepare our hearts for Christmas. Some days it might be with words read, other days it might be with ornaments colored or Legos assembled, but whatever our Advent looks like in this season of our lives, we’ll be giving each other the gift of time.
Time together. Time savored.
Whether you’re new to celebrating the season of Advent or it’s been part of your tradition for as long as you can remember, we would be honored to have you join us for a simple celebration of the season. Each day on (in)courage’s Instagram and Facebook accounts you’ll find a beautifully designed image to share with your friends and family, along with Scripture to read.
