How Can We Pray for You?

I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
Psalm 40:1-2 NIV

Friends, our world is hurting. We are grieving and fighting and struggling. And it all just hurts.

We know, however, that even in our darkest days, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. We believe that when we cry, He hears us. We trust that when we fall down, He will lift us up. And we know that when two or more gather in His name, He is here.

So let us gather today. Let us lift up one another and take all the pain weighing us down straight to the throne. Let us join hands through our screens, weeping with those who weep and waiting on the Lord who hears our cries.

One of the greatest privileges we have here at (in)courage is turning to God together, lifting up the spoken and unspoken needs of  our sisters. Today, please leave a prayer request in the comments and then pray for the person who commented before you. Let us turn to the God who sees and knows everything, who turns to us and hears our cry, and who loves us through it all.
