“What sign, then, are you going to do so we may see and believe you?” they asked. “What are you going to perform? Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, just as it is written: He gave them bread from heaven to eat.”
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, Moses didn’t give you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
Then they said, “Sir, give us this bread always.”
“I am the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “No one who comes to me will ever be hungry, and no one who believes in me will ever be thirsty again.”
John 6:30-35 (CSB)
They were asking for a miracle because Jesus had fed the five thousand the day before. They had just witnessed abundance like they had never seen, but they were hungry again — but hungry for the wrong thing. They were asking for another sign, for sustenance that wouldn’t last, and Jesus was telling them that He could satisfy them for always. He was pointing them to the best source of fulfillment, to the very thing they were looking for but didn’t know they had in front of them — Himself, the Bread of Life.
Only Jesus can satisfy us completely, in a way where we won’t be hungry again in the ways of our flesh. Instead, when we know Jesus, we’ll want more of Him, and the promises stays the same: no one who goes to Him will ever be hungry. We will continually be filled by Him.
May today be a day of filling for you, friends.

I love you Jesus !
THIS is who we are as the Church! Speaking the Truth of Christ! Not what the World wants to distract us with intersectionality and identity politics- we are to be salt and light!
Thank you for this truth today.
Yes Jesus trully is the true bread. We can want the lates mobile phones. The lates coputers. If we have the money to buy them. How long do they satisfiy us. Until the next one comes out bigger and better saying it can do this and this and it got more memory and it better quality and it runs faters plus if it a mobile the battery last longer. So we don’t have to charge it up as soften. We then get this is how Satan tempts us. Especially coming up Christmas all the adds are out to get you try and buy them. I one time got in my head I had to have cordless hoover. I thougt it would be handy for to clean the house with. Rather than used my cored hoover. Then God through the holy spirit spoke. Said Dawn you have a hoover that works. There are people in the world who don’t have the money to buy a new hoover or even think of cordless one. There are people who don’t even have roof over their head. Be thank full you have a hoover that works. I stopped and said Dawn you know God is so right. I should be thank full for all that I have all that God gives me. It is God gives you money to buy to the things we have. Everything we have come from God. So we are be good with the money God give us. Not spend one things we don’t need. God said yes think about another hoover when yours stop working. I said God you are so right. Jesus is the true bread of life. He is the only one that truly satisfies all your needs. As the world ways and the world things only want you wanting more. That to do with hoover taught me alot. To be thank full for all I have. If it working ok and going well. Then don’t let Satan tempt me into spentig money I don’t need to spend. Instead give more to Gods work help his people. Which me and my husband do. As Jesus is the true bread of life that. That truly satisfies our huger. Plus in Phil 4 verse 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. That means our needs not our greeds. Not things you do need. Like a hoover you don’t need if you have one that works well. That is greed in Gods eyes. If you don’t need it. One of my favorite verses. Excellent reading. Dawn Ferguson-Little
In Courage,
The devil works to distract us by making us think we must work long hours, making lots of money for our nice houses & cars. Then we become to tired so we just sit around & watch TV for a while then bed. We are so busy trying to make money to buy the “stuff” we think we must have that we don’t stop & take time for God. This world system says work work work achieve much & you will be applauded. In the end is it worth it? Children remember time spent with them more than any other gift you can buy. Jeremy Camp has a song “Empty Me”. He talks about burning away for the desires of this world & wanting nothing but Jesus. When we reach the end of ourselves and are worn out by striving & doing that is what we will ask of God. Take away this need for stuff & applause. Let me be filled with you. Let your light & love shine through me into this sin dark world. His promises never change. He is the same yesterday, today & tomorrow. Get rid of worldly thinking & turn toward God. You will find peace & serenity.
Blessings 🙂
