  1. I just love you, Holly! I have read so much from you! You excel even in the midst of all the muck, junk, and everything else that is thrown at us! It is a journey that you are winning and giving us such good insight about how to do ourselves so much better! You are a blessing!

  2. Ever since we got engaged (23 years ago!) sparks have flown between my husband and I. I call him
Very Italian as he likes to be demonstrative and I come from a family where my parents never argued in front of me. My step mum once told me that it was the sign of a good relationship (that we argued). I was surprised but as Holley explained there was wisdom in those words. As along as we worked through it. Which we generally do. We discovered that most times it starts because we are hurt (something the other has done makes us feel like they don’t care for us any more). If we had shut down and not worked it through these feelings would have got bigger and bigger and been incredibly destructive. Don’t get me wrong out disagreements can be messy but it’s worth the mess to get through to the truth. I hope this is helpful to someone.

  3. Holley,

Such great wisdom yet again. Like most couples my hubby & I get contentious often. Usually the culprits are being tired & disliking our jobs. We have found through the years that we must forgive & forget. Realizing that we are both human & our jobs can be stressful. Lately we’ve taken time to talk things out. We take time during our week to discuss life. One big thing we do is pray for each other. We ask God to put us where He wants us to be in our work lives. Thanks once again for the helpful insights!

    Blessings 🙂
