There is nothing we love more at (in)courage than clinging to God’s truth together and praying for one another.
Today, we invite you to do three things:
- Share a verse in the comments that is encouraging your heart.
- Leave a prayer request.
- Pray for one or more of the women who commented above you.
“I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.”

The promise that I think of often (amongst others) is Luke 11:13
“If you then, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him”
@Steph – I am sorry that you are struggling with anxiety. Please try and meditate and saturate yourself with God’s promises on anxiety. The Bible says be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer petition and supplication to make your requests, known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart. Believe in God‘s promises He will never leave us, nor forsake us, nor will He ever turned back on a promise. Cast your cares on God trust in Him. He will deliver you.
Personal word of advice is to watch pastors on TV who you may connect with search for sermons specifically on anxiety that always seems to help me when I’m going through something
God bless you Steph!

Jennifer says
Praying that God will remove your anxiety related to getting in a car, especially as a passenger. He will give you his peace and clamness. When you are getting in a car, think of a special song that reminds you of God and his love for you. God’s got this. Sing it out or just sing it to yourself and focus your thoughts on Him and not on your situation. One of my favorites is At Your Name or My Jesus. I will continue to lift you up.
Cathy says
I understand you’re apprehension! I, too, was in a horrible car accident— sustained many serious injuries. It took quite a bit of time for me to feel brave behind the wheel. I’ll keep you in my prayers… Yes! Pray before you leave, sing and rejoice as you drive!
