The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3 He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.
4 Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.
6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 23
Here’s a wild truth to grasp: everything you need is within your reach. Not wealth or social status, not perfect relationships or your dream job. But everything your soul needs is available right here, right now — in Jesus.
Reread Psalm 23 above again and note the words that express your deepest needs today.
Do you need . . . ?
Rest
Strength
Guidance
God’s presence
Protection
Comfort
Blessings
Goodness
Unfailing love
Living with Jesus forever
All of that and more is available to us when we choose to live life with Jesus, our Good Shepherd.
What are you lacking today? Could what you need be found in the Lord? God delights in giving His children all that they need. You are His child. Ask Him. He’s listening.

I know better but I constantly need forgiveness emotions get the best of me and my words fail me. I feel like a fraud, to spout anger, moodiness it’s not honouring God/Jesus, I’m sad. I want to be the hands and feet of Jesus especially in my own home. Why would God keep forgiving when I’m a grown adult making the same mistakes…

J,
He forgives you because you are His beloved child.
His promise is always to offer forgiveness to a heart filled with regret.
Pray for His grace to soften your emotions.
Perhaps there is forgiveness you need to give yourself as a cause of this. Pray for understanding of this.
He walks by your side.

J,
You, like the rest of us, are a flawed human being. We are all prone to sin. My emotions get the best of me also. I say wrong things. But the good news is God forgives your sins as far as East is from the West. Repent & ask Him to forgive you. Do it with a right heart He will always forgive. He does continue to love each & everyone of us. It may seem inconceivable but God forgives us & loves us wildly. He sent His only son to die a horrible death for us. That alone shows His love for you. Do not despair, but repent.

I feel the same way! My emotions get the best of me sometimes, though I pray and try my best to not let them. I feel like Im failing my God…I love Him and want to live my life for Him! Yet my emotions causes me fall away at times. I will be praying for you…

In Courage,
How easy it is to forget that we have everything we need. Society confuses our wants with needs. We need food, clothing & shelter & a way to pay for them. We also need God’s love, guidance, care, sabbath rest, protection, comfort in trials. Yes God generously gives us that too. The song “Thank you Lord for your Blessings on me” was written by Jeff Easter’s dad after he got out of prison & accepted Christ. He lived in a shack behind a junk yard. The words show his perspective on life.
You gave me Your love Lord And a fine family Thank You Lord For Your blessings on me
While the world looks upon me As I struggle alone And they say I have nothing But they are so wrong
In my heart I’m rejoicing And how I wish they could see Thank You Lord For Your blessings on me
There’s a roof up above me I’ve a good place to sleep There’s food on my table And shoes on my feet
You gave me Your love Lord And a fine family Thank You Lord For Your blessings on me
I know I’m not wealthy And these clothes, they’re not new I don’t have much money But Lord I have You
And that’s all that matters Though the world may not see Thank You Lord For Your blessings on me
There’s a roof up above me I’ve a good place to sleep There’s food on my table And shoes on my feet
You gave me Your love Lord And a fine family Thank You Lord For all Your blessings on me
Blessings 🙂

Thank you!
God used you to bring this message, HIS message, to anyone who is unsure of how much Jesus loves them and all that is waiting for anyone who will dare to believe.
Awesomely beautiful!

Lovely remember God will give us what we need not our greed’s. Thank you for this. God will not give us more than we need. But God will give it to us in his perfect timing not ours. When God gives it to us. We have to be sure not to forget to thank God for giving it to us. As we can so easily take what God give us for granted. As God will give what is best for us. It might not be what we want. But when we look back through time. We will know it was best for us. We will be glad God gave it to us not the thing we wanted at the time. As God always knows what is best for us better than we do ourselves. That Psalm 23 is so true. The Lord is our Shepherd he is our Shepherd we are is sheep. Every Shepherd looks after it’s sheep. So God looks after us his sheep. I so glad. As I be lost if God my Shepherd didn’t look after me one of his sheep. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little xx keeping you all in prayer incourage
