  1. Jennifer, your words bring to mind find memories of a local pottery studio. My husband & I spent a lot of date nights there painting the pre-made offerings for our home or as gifts. We also hung out there with friends’ kids so they could have date nights themselves. We never took a spin wheel class as I visualized my “perfectly symmetrical fluted vase” would be the kindergartener’s blob paperweight. I left the shaping & molding to the Masters. I pray as believers we participate with THE MASTER’s design by submitting to His design for each of us & rely on The Spirit to paint our vessel with the fruit of the Spirit making each one of us top shelf display worthy yet useful in each day to glorify our personal Potter! Blessings (((0)))

  2. Jennifer,

You may not be a potter but you’re an excellent writer and “sharer” of God’s encouraging WORD!

    Sending you spring joy,

    Lisa Wilt

  3. I embrace my lopsidedness and ask you Lord to fill this vessel with your overflowing grace and love.

  4. Dear Jennifer………….I truly enjoyed your story today. It was wonderful and something that I never even thought of. I definitely am a lopsided bowl due to the season I find myself in for the past almost 5 years. I did pray with you with the beautiful prayer and true words about God that sometimes kind of slips to the back of my mind because I am so sad. I will follow your words had keep praying as I do every day. HOPE is my word for the month of May and I pray that the Lord fills my vessel with peace, joy and love and maybe help me to reconnect me with my only family left that have disowned me. Please have a Blessed weekend and thank you again for giving me something to really think about……………….Love to you………..Betsy Basile

  5. Oh Jennifer, this was so good! So often I feel like this life looks like a do over kind of piece of pottery! Very lopsided, cracked and broken. But God… Thank you for the reminder that His Spirit is still within us, shining through the cracks. ❤️

  6. Thank you for this reminder. Definitely feeling/looking a little “off” these days. But still believing & trusting that this vessel can be used for Him . . .
