  1. I cannot tell you how much I needed to hear this message this morning.
Without going into all the details, I have a daughter who is currently not speaking to me. I’ve been praying about it every day, but your message this morning was exactly what I needed to hear. God is with me in the waiting. She will return, I will learn to trust Him, and He will be glorified!

    • Mimi, I have prayed for God to comfort your heart and bring peace and hope, knowing He hears you. Although the days without your daughter are challenging, His timing is always perfect.

    • Ditto MIMI, My husband & I are going through the same here (without going into details) with our oldest daughter. I certainly do feel your “Heart-Break” filled with pain especially as a mom and grand-mother, it’s unbearable to see the sorrow/pain in our grand-children eyes, they should NEVER be involved in this uncalled for situation, it effects EVERYONE! Continue to be the SUN-SHINE in the lives of others, AND you will be “BLESSED” as well….Faithfully TRUSTING Him!

  2. Yes it can be hard to wait and know God is working on your behalf. I suppose your like me you expect answers right away to your prayers. You then begin to think two things why God are you taking so long to answer this request I have prayed to you about. Second you think God did you hear my prayer that I prayed to you about. I need help now everything going wrong and I don’t know what to do about it this problem or problems I have at the moment. The world and everything you can think is crashing around you. Things seem for you to be getting worse not better. You shout God we’re are you why are you letting me go through all this help me. It can be hard. You then say to someone please pray for me telling them what the problem is. You tell them you have prayed about it to God but no answer and you wonder did God hear your cry in the prayer you prayed. They look at you say in a nice voice say my child don’t panic your only going to make yourself worse get me angous about things. They then say to you God did hear your prayer. You look at them reply why has God not answered it. They say mabe God is teaching you patience at this time and to leave all your problems and worries with him and stop worrying about them. Know he is working on your behalf on this problem and in his perfect timing he will answer you but it might not be in the way you want. But God knows best and when to answer you. You have to do that and remember what God did in Moses day. He didn’t remove the Red Sea. God parted it. Like your problems and all your going through you have to remember sometimes God doesn’t always remove your problems. But he will make away to get through them. How true that is I am one to amdit I not good at doing that. As I am not good at waiting in the moment when everything seems to be crashing around me. I had to learn to trust God know he heard my prayer and he is working not asleep. Have that trust keep looking up. Thank you for today’s reading it spoke to me. 3. Thank you for this very uplifting devotion today on Sunday and soon time to go to church. I love the words and especially the prayer at the end as I am in a “wait” time, but I also know that I need to be patience and always remember that God works on his own timing, but He always keeps his promises. Even though my son and his wife and my now ex husband after 54 years think I belong in a mental institution because I am a Christian and they say there is no such thing. Church is just a group of money grubbers. That really does hurt me, but they will not break my faith no matter what they try to do. But I have not seen or heard from my one grandchild since he was 11 and he just turned 15. This is the biggest hurt that I have and no matter how I try to wonder why they have done this to me, I know that God works behind the scenes where we don’t see or know what His plan is for us. Something good will come. So I am off to church and to worship with all the other church members. I wish you all a Blessed Sunday and a good week ahead………………….Betsy Basile

  4. God thank you Im having a hard time with a lot of family, health, and finance, and a good environment, also for my grown children and grandchildren we need protection, a better environment, and housing I’m, confused, scared hurt. I trust you I know it’s your plan please help me and my family to get through it Amen

    • Opel……I am praying for you too. I am going through the same horrible situations. My son will not speak to me as he says I am no longer his mother, but a liar and will not let me speak or see my 1 grandchild who just turned 15 and I have not seen him since he was 11. The worst part about it is that it is because I am a Christian and if that doesn’t hurt, wow. We did not raise him to be like this. He was brought up in a church from the time he was very young. I also need different housing as the Facility I live in is terrible. They can’t even hire anyone due to not even paying them minimum wage. I will continue to pray for you Opel and hopefully it will help you and your family to get through it. I really know how you feel as unfortunately, I have similar problems like you…………………Love to you, Betsy Basile

  5. I know that during this waiting period, God is teaching me some new things necessary for my personal growth in my relationship with him. I know I need this as painful as it may be!

  6. This devotion came at a good time for me. Right now, I’m waiting to have a biopsy that will determine if I have cervical cancer, caused by HPV which my husband gave me after committing adultery. I don’t even know how to process this, but I know the Lord is with me in the waiting and the pain.

  7. God, in your mercy. Hear every concern, worry, distress, and pain lifted here today. Be the Answer, Comfort, and Victory to all calling on You now and in all these things. In Jesus’ healing, merciful, and mighty name. For Your glory! Amen.

  8. Lifting these concerns up in my PRAYERS today as I’m usually behind with the In-Courage Devotionals. Greatly appreciate this much needed encouragement. Yes, my husband & I are in that season/year especially right now. Change is part of His designs, oh how He LOVES, CARES and only want the BEST for us. GOOD NEWS: Our HOPE isn’t anchored to our circumstances – it’s anchored to Christ. We are believing in His miracles, staying the course, as we are focusing on Him and others around us. Let your LIGHT Shine….Matthew 5:16 P.S. What a Lovely Prayer, THANK YOU!!!
