Psalm 23
1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3 He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.
4 Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.
6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord
forever. (NLT)
Pause. Breathe. Meditate on God’s Word.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He is the help we need.
Now make this your prayer:
Jesus, You are my steady guide and constant provider. When life feels chaotic, You know how to quiet my soul and give me real rest. You don’t just point me in the right direction — you walk with me, giving me strength I could never muster on my own.
When fear creeps in or the path feels dark, remind me that I’m never abandoned. Your presence is my safety, and Your nearness is what gives me courage to keep going.
Even in the middle of hard relationships or difficult circumstances, You remind me that I am seen, cared for, and deeply blessed. My life is not empty — it overflows with Your kindness. Help me to see Your goodness right where I am.
Thank You that no matter what today brings, I can count on Your love to keep chasing after me. And thank You for the hope of forever with You, where peace and joy will never end.
Amen.

In Courage,
Psalm 23:4 has become a staple for me. In the midst of trials I have learned not to worry. God is there right beside me. He comforts me & will walk with me through to the other side.
Blessings 🙂
Thank you so much for this encouraging message. Psalm 23 is one that I pray at night. Many nights it helps me fall asleep. My Good Shepherd is my Protector and Defender. And He is always guiding me.
This is a psalm 23 for us today and not just at funerals. As at funerals is were we hear it the most. All the words so true for us in good and not so good days to help us. Letting us know the Lord is our Shepherd and we are his sheep that he cares for. No matter what we go through in life our Heavenly Father who is always there for us. We don’t need to be afraid God is our comfort and he will provide for us and comfort us. I say Amen to that. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little Enniskillen Co.Fermanagh N.Ireland xx
This was a perfect post for a dear friend of mine – who I was just in a conversation with – and learned of her surgeries and visits to the ER with her new baby. I sent this to her. Truly amazing God’s timing whether in a song, a reading, a prayer, or a post.
Thank you Jesus Amen \0/
This is also a perfect prayer for a friend/coworker of mine who’s family is going through so much. Thank you!
Just what I needed today.

Grateful the Lord is my Shepherd
I come to you and All in Jesus’ Name, to please pray for His Divine Intervention, of me at this time as I await, and will be given my Blood test reports tomorrow (10/13 at 3:00 pm), it will be the deciding factor as to whether, or not, I have cancer, and If I wld then need surgery. I am trying desperately to place my own Faith, over my Fear, but I everso humbly am here to not only please ask for your prayers, but that Jesus will have mercy on my request, in order that I may be blessed with.. another chance of Life. I am blessed that you are there to pray for me and thank God for You. very sincerely , and in prayer, AMEN.
(in )courage Women……………………….All I can say to all of you is this is just what I needed. I am feeling weary and my legs seem to be losing their strength, but every time I pray to Jesus, He answers me with more strength and some peace that I truly need at this point in my life. Thank you so much. I was so worried when I got up this morning and your devotion wasn’t there. It always is, and I hope that people like my son are trying to tear you down again. I love you all………..Betsy Basile
Sorry…I meant that I hoped that people like my son were not trying to tear you down again. I really am weary for making that mistake in my previous email. I am so sorry……..Betsy Basile
Betsy, Please do not give your ‘typo’ another thought because speaking on my behalf I knew what you meant in your first email, and I am sure that others did too. So rest my dear and let us all here keep on continuing to pray… for ourselves and for one another. And make No mistake, Jesus “will see us all through.”. And so, let us all do our part by continuing to pray, and… Jesus “will do the Rest.”. Lastly, just yesterday when I was going for my own medical testing, my own nephew and niece reminded me to put my “Faith over my Fears. And Not, my Fears over my Faith.” God IS Good because it was only minutes before that I found myself crying to Jesus and begging Him to talk to me and … that I would Hear Him. He Will give You what you ask, what you Need, and… at His most Perfect timing. And in my own case He sent my niece and nephew here with words that I knew were from the Holy Spirit, and words that I had no question that were from Him alone, for me. And so, He did Hear me, He did talk to me, and… I did Hear Him. And, He Hears You, and your Cry too, Betsy. *YOU ‘Will get through’This!”. Just keep holding on In Faith and your reward will be Great. Remrmber, “Faith Over Fear.”.❤️
Dear Amelia…………..Thank you so very much for your email. It is beautiful and you said remember “Faith over Fear ” and it just so happens that I have a necklace with a circle on it that says those words and I wear it a lot. Thank you for your words and I will do exactly what you told me. Your story certainly had a nice ending. I am so happy you told me. I know now that I “will get through this!..I send my love to you as you were so kind to me and you don’t even know me. Please have a blessed weekend……Betsy
